A-list actress Helen Hunt arrived in Vancouver this week, to film Live Like Line, the tale of a high school volleyball team hit by the death of their star Caroline ‘Line’ Found.
Daily Hive captured some great pictures of Helen Hunt arriving at Vancouver airport, with her dog in tow too.
- Helen Hunt, who plays Kathy Bresnahan in the movie, could be joined by co-stars Erin Moriarty and William Hurt.
Keith Urban
Nicole Kidman’s husband – and country music megastar – is in Vancouver this month to play a concert at Rogers Arena. No word on whether Kidman will be joining him…
Charlize Theron
Mad Max megastar Charlize Theron is in Vancouver this month to film Tully, which reunites her with Young Adult writer Diablo Cody and director Jason Reitman.
Theron plays Marlo, a mother of three, who is gifted a night nanny by her brother and forms a unique bond with the surprising and sometimes challenging young nanny.
- Not many other cast members have been revealed, but Charlize Theron is sure to be joined by her co-star Mackenzie Davis, a Vancouver local.
Juliette Lewis
Actress and singer Juliette Lewis, of Natural Born Killers and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape fame, is making a Vancouver stop on her current tour when she plays at Venue in September.
Julia Roberts
Hollywood megastar Julia Roberts is in Vancouver to shoot new drama Wonder, in which she plays the mother of a boy born with a facial deformity.
It also looks like she may have been trying some Stand Up Paddleboarding while she’s been in town…
Jacob Tremblay

Jacob Tremblay is a Vancouver local, but the young actor is also here filming Wonder alongside Julia Roberts, he plays her son.
And at the end of the day, it seems, Jacob Tremblay has a good old sing-along to Bon Jovi of course.
Owen Wilson
Owen Wilson has also been spotted in Vancouver – he is set to play Jacob Tremblay’s father in Wonder.
It looks like the Zoolander star has already been enjoying some of Vancouver’s nightlife.

Bloc Party
Kele Okereke, Russell Lissack, Justin Harris, Matt Tong, Gordon Moakes will be in Vancouver too, touring Bloc Party’s fifth album Hymns at the Commodore Ballroom.

Canadian rapper Drake is bringing some hotline bling to Vancouver this September, not only playing Rogers Arena, but hosting a ticketed Drake afterparty following the show.

Jenna Elfman
Former Dharma & Greg star, Jenna Elfman, is in Vancouver filming a new TV show, Imaginary Mary, the story of a workaholic whose imaginary childhood friend comes back to join her as an adult.

Icelandic rockers, Jón Þór “Jonsi” Birgisson, Georg Hólm, Orri Páll Dýrason (we dare you to try to shout their names when you see them in the street!), are in Vancouver this month, to promote Kevikur, their first album without band founder Kjartan Sveinsson.
Tyler Hoechlin
Tyler Hoechin’s Superman is the latest addition to Supergirl since the show moved production to Vancouver. Daily Hive got some great shots of him filming in town.
- Tyler Hoechin could soon be joined by Supergirl herself Melissa Benoist, and co-star Calista Flockhart, who will return despite production moving away from her home in LA.
Vera Farmiga
Oscar-nominated actress Vera Farmiga will likely be in Vancouver in September to film TV show, Bates Motel, in which she plays overly protective mother Norma Bates.
Rihanna
Surprisingly, superstar Rihanna may well join Farmiga in Vancouver, for a one-episode role in Bates Motel, playing Marion Crane.
Crane was the character killed off in the book and Alfred Hitchcock’s film version of Psycho, to which the TV show acts as a prequel.
Since this is the final season of Bates Motel, speculation is rife over exactly how much we will see of Rihanna – and whether we will see her meet her comeuppance.
