15 celebrities you can spot in Vancouver in June

Spring has officially sprung in Vancouver and the warm weather is finally upon us – making it the perfect time to hit the streets in search of your next celebrity sighting.

Here are 15 celebrities you can spot in Vancouver during June!

Ryan Reynolds

Prepare yourself Vancouverites – rumor has it, Ryan Reynolds is in town!

Reynolds will be returning to his hometown of Vancouver to film Deadpool 2, known by its working title of ‘Love Machine’. Production began in late May and is set to continue into October.

Anna Faris

Known for her comedic roles, platinum blonde hair, and natural charisma, Anna Faris is in Vancouver for her new role in the romantic comedy Overboard. Production started in May and will continue into July.

Faris rose to fame starring in the first four Scary Movies as main character Cindy. She is also known for her role in The House Bunny, What’s Your Number? and most recently, as Christy on the CBS sitcom Mom.

Kristin Lehman

This Canadian actress will be in Vancouver throughout June for her role in the TV series Altered Carbon. Lehman is best known for her roles in the TV series Poltergeist: The Legacy, Judging Amy and AMC’s The Killing.

Joel Kinnaman

Joel Kinnaman will also be in town filming Altered Carbon. You may remember him as Governor Will Conway in Netflix’s House of Cards, or in 2016’s comic caper Suicide Squad. Kinnaman also starred along side Lehman in The Killing as detective Stephen Holder.

Adam Devine

Best known for his quirky charm as Bumper in the Pitch Perfect films, Adam DeVine is in town filming Game Over, Man! which will wrap up in early June.

At the moment the plot is being kept very hush hush, but is said to be an action comedy starring his Workaholics colleagues Anders Holm and Blake Anderson. Make sure to be on the look out for this trio, DeVine has been sharing some hilarious Instagram stories of the stars enjoying the Vancouver club scene – party on boys!

Kristen Connolly

Kristen Connolly, star of The Cabin in the Woods, is likely in Vancouver until June, filming the third season of CBS drama Zoo. The series follows a team of scientists investigating a rash of violent animal attacks.

James Wolk

James Wolk has a long history of roles in television – starring in a few Shameless episodes, and making appearances in ABC’s Happy Endings, season six of Mad Men and CBS sitcom The Crazy Ones. Wolks will be in Vancouver through June for his lead role of Jackson Oz in Zoo.

Burkley Duffield

Burkey Duffield is a Canadian actor who is born and raised in Vancouver. He is known for playing Eddie in House of Anubis and is currently plays the lead role of Holden in Beyond, which is filming season two in Vancouver until August.

Jonathan Whitesell

From Vancouver Island, BC Jonathan Whitesell also stars in Beyond alongside Duffield. He is known for his roles in The Hollow and The Unspoken. 

Molly Parker

Better known as ruthless Jackie Sharp on House of Cards, Molly Parker could well be in Vancouver through to June, filming Lost in Space, a remake of the 1960s sci-fi series of the same name.

Olivia Munn

Olivia Munn will be in Vancouver filming for The Predator, a squeal to the 1987 sci-fi movie Predator. She is best known for starring in TV series Beyond the Break,  The Newsroom and feature film X-Men: Apocalypse. 

Jacob Tremblay

Jacob Tremblay will be in his hometown of Vancouver for his role in The Predator. The child star made his debut in The Smurfs 2 and then went on to star in Room, Before I Wake and Shut In.

Jason Alexander will be in town for his new TV show Hit the Road, which began production in late May and will continue into July. You may remember him for his longtime role of George Costanza on Seinfield.

 Meghan Ory

Meghan Ory will return to Vancouver for her role as Abby O’Brien in Chesapeake Shores, which is currently filming season two. Born in Victoria, BC Ory has also starred in Once Upon a Time as Ruby aka red riding hood filmed here in Steveston Village.

Jesse Metcalfe
