Car Free Day 2017 on Commercial Drive brings music and parties this July

Car Free Day is set to hit Vancouver’s Commercial Drive for another year this summer, filling the streets with festivals, music, and food.
On Sunday, July 9, Car Free Day on the Drive will fill 15 blocks with live performances, artisans, community activities, an abundance of food and all ages entertainment.
Car Free Day Vancouver began on Commercial Drive in 2008, and the vibe stays true to the grassroots activism that continues to encourage people to get out of their cars.
TransLink is rerouting many of its buses to keep the Car Free Day events transit free, but there will be transit stops nearby. Entry for all events is free.
