Homicide detectives recover car linked to Surrey teen's murder

A vehicle linked to the murder of 19-year-old Bhavkiran (Kiran) Dhesi has been located, according to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT).

On August 2, 2017, at around 12:20 am, Kiran was found inside a burning vehicle in the 18700-block of 24 Avenue in Surrey.

Her death was deemed a homicide and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) took conduct of the case.

IHIT said it was looking for two vehicles believed to be involved in the homicide – a dark grey Audi Q7 and a dark grey Dodge Ram truck.

On December 22, IHIT said the Audi had been recovered.

“Vehicle found: #IHIT investigators would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating the Audi Q7 related to the homicide of Bhavkiran Dhesi,” wrote the investigation team on Twitter.

IHIT has not released any more information regarding the vehicle.
