Richmond RCMP are investigating an incident that occurred this morning when a car crashed through the brick wall of a 7-Eleven convenience store.

One of the three employees inside the 7-Eleven location at the intersection of No. 3 Road and Blundell was reportedly injured and taken to hospital.

The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle and is believed to have lost control while entering the parking lot. The store is now closed until further notice.

Today’s incident come after the November 3 crash on Denman Street that involved a car crashing into a Fatburger restaurant, injuring four Vancouver Police Department officers in the process.
