An iconic bright sign is about to be dimmed on Granville Street.

After 15 years of nightlife entertainment, Caprice Nightclub will be closing its doors for good on Saturday, January 13.

“Join us as we celebrate 15 years of Caprice Nightclub and say farewell to Vancouver’s iconic Granville Street legend,” the club posted on Facebook.

Formerly a movie theatre, Caprice was renovated into a 10,000-square-foot state of the art multi-level venue. Besides its club nights, Caprice, which is located at 967 Granville Street, also hosted concerts and private events in its space.

Blueprint, owners of Caprice, say they are working on a new project and renovations will start soon, in efforts to “keep good company.”
