Hometown Hockey is making its way to Vancouver this weekend, and with it, a cool opportunity for Canucks fans.
On Friday from 6 until 7 pm at the new Rogers store at Metropolis at Metrotown, Canucks leading scorer Bo Horvat will be available for photos and autographs.
No Canucks player is more popular with fans these days than old hot dog Horvat, so I would imagine that showing up early is a good strategy.
Rogers will also be offering contests, giveaways, along with “fun and delicious surprises” all weekend.
Hometown Hockey shifts to downtown Vancouver on Saturday and Sunday, when former Canucks Kirk McLean and Geoff Courtnall, along with Rick Hansen, will be making appearances alongside hosts Ron MacLean and Tara Sloan.
The weekend concludes with an outdoor viewing party of the Canucks-Devils game at 4 pm on Sunday.
