Thousands of marijuana smokers will celebrate Canada’s July 1 birthday with the annual Cannabis Day in Vancouver as they overtake Vancouver Art Gallery for one huge session celebrating all things Cannabis.
Over 30,000 people attended the annual 420 celebration in Vancouver and organizers are expecting a record turn out this year. The celebration will feature activist speakers, live bands, contests, weed give-aways and more.
The event’s primary focus is protesting the prohibition of marijuana. According to Cannabis Culture Magazine the rally will feature an open-sales marijuana farmers market, where vendors set up shop and sell a selection of marijuana strains, extracts, and infused baked goods.
With legalization taking place in many states down south, one would think that Canada is ready to become a nation that lifts the ridiculous ban.
