Canadians now get discounts of up to 35% at Disney theme parks

Here at Daily Hive, we are massive fans of all things Disney – especially its theme parks.

We even created intricate April Fools’ pranks over the last two years that revolved around bringing Disney theme parks to Canada.

There was a Disney ski resort “planned” for the mountains north of Vancouver in 2017, and earlier this year there was an “announcement” that Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport on Toronto Islands would be replaced with an integrated Disneyland resort.

If you weren’t aware either of these were jokes, and you found out just now, we are truly sorry!

But until those Canadian Disney park dreams become reality, you will have to travel south of the border for your closest Disney theme park fix.

And for Canadian residents only, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts is offering a major discount for tickets purchased to Disneyland Resort in Anaheim and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

Disneyland Resort

For the Anaheim resort, Canadian residents can purchase an adult, three-day, one-park per day ticket for a total of just $207 USD – that’s $69 USD per day. That is down from the non-discounted, three-day price of USD$280. Upgrades to the Park Hopper are also available.

That’s ample time to fully enjoy everything inside both the original Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure Park.

This deal will last from August 29, 2018, through April 11, 2019, with park entry on these tickets valid through May 23, 2019.

Walt Disney World Resort

Over at Walt Disney World Resort, Canadian residents also have the option of a four-day or longer base theme park ticket for just $316 USD – only $79 USD per day. That is down from $380 USD regular price. Upgrades to the Park Hopper are also available.

With four days under your Magic Band, that provides you with all the time you need to enjoy Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The deal will last from August 29, 2018, through March 15, 2019, with park entry on these tickets valid through September 27, 2019 (with the exception of the blockout dates of December 24, 2018, through January 1, 2019).
