Canada's Top 10 most expensive house prices includes 4 Vancouver neighbourhoods

In addition to its compilations of Canada’s 25 richest neighbourhoods and top 10 highest income neighbourhoods, Canadian Business magazine has outlined the neighbourhoods with the most expensive average real estate prices.

Although two Toronto neighbourhoods top the list, Vancouver leads with the most number of neighbourhoods within the top 10 ranking.

Top 10 neighbourhoods with the most expensive house prices 2014

1. York Mills-Windfields, Toronto

  • Average Home Price: $3.40 million
  • Average Household Annual Net Worth: $21.6 million

2. Forest Hill South-UCC, Toronto

  • Average Home Price: $3.18 million
  • Average Household Annual Net Worth: $10.6 million

3. Shaughnessy Heights, Vancouver

  • Average Home Price: $3.09 million
  • Average Household Annual Net Worth: $12.0 million

4. West Bay & Sandy Cove, Vancouver

  • Average Home Price: $2.90 million
  • Average Household Annual Net Worth: $8.19 million

5. Lawrence Park North, Toronto

  • Average Home Price: $2.80 million
  • Average Household Annual Net Worth: $10.4 million

6. Kerrisdale, Vancouver

  • Average Home Price: $2.79 million
