SkyTrain’s Canada Line system is experiencing major service disruptions this evening due to a medical emergency at Olympic Village Station.

The disruptions began at approximately 8:30 pm. Northbound trains from Richmond-Brighouse and YVR-Airport stations are turning around at Broadway-City Hall station while southbound trains from Waterfront Station are still operating but not stopping at Olympic Village Station.

A bus bridge is being set up for passengers between Olympic Village Station and Broadway-City Hall Station.

“Our crews are working hard to restore full service,” reads a statement by TransLink. “We aim to provide further updates as soon as possible. We apologize for this inconvenience.”

  • UPDATE at 9:15 pm: Transit Police say the service disruptions will continue until approximately 11 pm.
  • UPDATE at 3 am: Regular service will resume as scheduled later this morning.
