Canada Day 2014 Burnaby Events

Canada Day celebrations in Burnaby are full of family fun activities, including parades, free concerts and fireworks. 

Canada Day at Burnaby Village Museum

Location: Burnaby Village Museum (6501 Deer Lake Avenue, Burnaby)
11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Event: Family entertainment including musicians, displays and demonstrations. Children can participate in heritage games, face painting and more! Official parade starts at 1:45pm.
Cost: Free admission. Carousel rides are $2.50 each.

Canada Day at Edmonds Park

Location: Edmonds Park, Burnaby
Time: 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Event: Join us at at 11am for the grand opening of the new outdoor plaza! Enjoy the rest of the Canada Day festivities with carnival games, bingo, cake, multicultural entertainment, and more.
Cost: Free admission.

Free Concert! Spirit of the West

Location: Swangard Stadium, Burnaby
Time: Doors at 5 p.m.; Show at 6:30 p.m.
Event: Canadian Folk-Rock legends Spirit of the West with appearances by Dear Rouge and Dustin Bentall and the Smøkes. Fireworks display to follow. Limited to the first 4,200 patrons.
Cost: Free admission.
