Yesterday we told you about a stolen bike, not just any bike, but a bike that has traveled across the country twice. It belonged to a Burnaby senior, who noticed it was missing after a visit to church. We have learned that the bike has been returned to the senior, roughly ten days after it was stolen out of his garage.

After the story was featured on the news on Tuesday, someone called the police to let them know that they recognized the stolen bike in a back alley near their home.

The Burnaby senior, Nilis Dykstra has had this bike for over 30 years. It’s the same bike he rode eastward to visit relatives in Ontario in the early ’80′s.
