Luminescence III

  • What: Experience artworks by over 20 notable artists from varying disciplines. These artists present the many ways this brilliant natural phenomenon – the essence of light or Luminescence – has inspired them.

Easter Egg Hunt at CG Brown Pool

  • What: The Easter bunny is stashing treats at CG Brown pool. Seven-year-olds and younger must be accompanied by an adult in the water; bring your bathing suit.

Maya Rae

  • What: Maya Rae’s debut album from 2017, Sapphire Bird, has received international radio play. She has performed to sold-out audiences and shared stages with Vancouver’s A-list musicians, including Miles Black, Cory Weeds, Joel Fountain, Vince Mai and Andre Lachance.

Collected Traces and Still Here Co. ERASGA

  • What: Co. ERASGA’s newest ensemble creation recalls and traces the transcendent principle of the body’s relationship to indigenous traditional arts. Choreographed by critically acclaimed Vancouver choreographer Alvin Erasga Tolentino, Collected Traces and Still Here features seven outstanding dancers from Vancouver and Manila.

Rotary International Food Festival 2018

  • What: The sixth annual event features food from the Caribbean, India, China, Mexico, Greece, Italy, and Japan. Culinary delights are prepared in partnership with members of the Rotary Club of Burnaby and students of the ACE-IT training program. All foods will be prepared by ACE-IT students, under the supervision of the Chef Stephen Wade.
