Vancouver's pop-up bunny cafe has been extended until next week

Due to overwhelming ‘hopulairty’ Vancouver’s pop-up bunny cafe has been extended.

Vancouver’s cafe for cats — Catfe — has been taken over by adorable bunnies and you’ll be able to visit them until December 23.

Catfe has teamed up with Rabbitats Rescue to host the bunnies and all of them are available for adoption.

Visitors can come in, pet, play, and get to know the bunnies and if they are interested, they can inquire about the adoption process via Rabbitats on site.

Although it’s easy to fall in love with this cuddly crew of bunnies, the animals are known to be harder to take care of than cats.

That’s why Catfe and Rabbitats want to ensure that prospective adopters are ready for the responsibility, and a screening process is required before taking a bunny home.

If you’re not interested in adopting and just want to spend some time with these fluffballs, you can definitely do that too.

Catfe will also be celebrating its three-year anniversary on December 14 and there are a few cats that you’ll be able to visit.

“We never imagined we’d be spending it with a room full of rabbits – a very bunny way to celebrate!” said Catfe’s owner, Michelle Furbacher.

Visiting hours are from 12 to 8 pm every day. On December 23, Catfe closes at 5 pm.

Go to Catfe’s website to reserve a time to visit the bunnies.
