On September 20, 1 School 1 Day will unite the Vancouver health and fitness community in a sweaty morning of motion to raise money for a school in Ethiopia.
The event will feature flow yoga, a core workout and a run led by some of Vancouver’s leading fitness instructors, including Rose Cortez from Moksha Yoga, Taren and Emilia from Seva Fitness and Keighty Gallagher from Tight Club. Following the sweat session, a catered lunch from Culver City Salads and The Juice Truck will be provided at Jack Poole Plaza.
Tickets are just $25 (individual) or $100 (group rate of 5 tickets), with 100 per cent of the proceeds being put towards building a primary school in Ethiopia through the imagine1day foundation.
The goal is to raise $15,000 after raising $5000 for the cause the previous year. This year’s event is expected to have over 500 yogis and runners.
