Family of 11-year-old who went missing from Stanley Park sends thank you note to police
On Wednesday afternoon, Vancouver Police issued a plea for the public’s help to locate an 11-year-old boy who disappeared in Stanley Park.
Bruneau Fulton was biking with his family in the park when he disappeared. He was later found safely in New Westminster by an off duty police officer – the had cycled 25 km in an attempt to find a phone where he called call his family.
After being reunited with their son, the Fulton family stopped by New Westminster Police Department to thank the off duty officer who had found their son.
They also wrote a thank you note to show their appreciation of the officer’s efforts.

In the note, which was posted to social media, the family thank the department for their “speedy, professional, and diligent work.”
