Vancouver’s own BroadbandTV is now the world’s third largest video property, only trailing behind Google and Facebook when it comes to unique views.

According to the comScore Top 100 Video Properties Worldwide, BBTV’s unique video viewership is more than half the size of Facebook ‘s and a third of Google’s. That means one in three people consumed BBTV content during February.

BBTV officially beat out VEVO and Warner Music for unique views for the month of February.

“We’re one of the largest creators and distributors of short form content globally, and the business continues to develop at an incredible rate, we’re now poised for another period of significant growth,” Shahrzad Rafati, Founder & CEO of BroadbandTV, said in a statement.

“In 2016, we expect to accelerate further as we continue to scale the business both domestically and internationally, expand our verticals, create and distribute compelling content across more platforms, and further diversify revenue streams.”

In February, BroadbandTV announced that they have become the world’s largest multi-platform network, beating out other major players like Maker Studios, Fullscreen, and Machinima.

This announcement follows the unveiling of BBTV’s new 30,000 square-foot global headquarters in Coal Harbour.
