Vancouver-based BroadbandTV announces deal with Univision

Vancouver-based BroadbandTV has announced a partnership with one of the top media companies serving Hispanic America, Univision Digital.

BBTV will help amplify Univision’s 16 premium YouTube channels and manage all of their fan-uploaded content.

Univision will join other heavy weights on BBTV’s roster like the NBA, Warner Brothers, VIACOM, Sony Pictures, and Omnifilm.

“The growing Hispanic demographic in particular has huge potential, and it will remain a strategic focus for BBTV as we continue to expand our business and global operations.”

Popular Univision content such as “La Rosa de Guadalupe,” “Como Dice el Dicho,” and “Prime Impacto” will be managed with BBTV’s content services.

BBTV is one of the world’s largest Multi-platform Networks, with 85,000 content creators amassing 18.2 billion monthly impressions. It’s the third largest video property in the world following Google and Facebook.
