It has been four years since we hosted our city’s greatest party in history. Canadian athletes are competing their hearts out in Sochi, but the atmosphere in the streets of Vancouver hasn’t been all that electric.

How can you recreate the magic that was 2010?

The folks from High On Life took it upon themselves to bring back the Olympic spirit momentarily to Vancouver. They performed a mock Torch Relay through the streets of downtown Vancouver with one man running an actual 2010 torch while wearing the torchbearer uniform.

Beginning at Jack Poole Plaza, site of the Olympic Cauldron, he was accompanied by a seven-man running entourage and a rear vehicle before concluding his run with a mock Cauldron relighting inside Celebrities Nightclub.
