It’s the ultimate appreciation of West Coast lifestyle: Hitting the slopes during the day, then enjoying a great craft beer, followed by the après. Granville Island Brewing just happens to call it BrewSki.
Celebrating its 2nd Annual BrewSki tour, Granville Island Brewing hits the slopes for an eight-day snow-filled adventure to six premiere mountain resorts.
Riding a total of 16,739 skiable acres of fresh powder at Cypress, Whistler, Grouse, Revelstoke, Vernon and Kamloops, the BrewSki Tour’s appreciation for après lifestyle is in full effect.
Locally, BrewSki après happens at Duhb Linn Gate in Whistler, Altitudes at Grouse Mountain, Howe Sound Brewing, Bomber Brewing in Vancouver, Bridge Brewing in North Vancouver and Parkside Brewery in Port Moody.
The second leg of the journey kicks off in the heart of Kamloops at Red Collar Brewery, where their motto, “life is better with beer,” rings true to the après way of life. Who would want to miss a visit to Mt. Begbie Brewery, celebrating its 20th anniversary in Revelstoke this year? Also featuring stops at The Noble Pig Brewhouse and Masa’s Bar and Grill in Kamloops, and Sun Peak’s Den Bar and Bistro and Mackenzie Common, the variety of great tasting craft beer will not be lacking on this trip.
“The BrewSki Tour gives us the chance each year to visit ski towns and breweries across the province, check out changes and trends in the industry, and celebrate all that B.C. has to offer, while making friends along the way,” says Dave Nicholls, general manager of Granville Island Brewing.
Adding to the experience, BrewSki Tour has partnered up with Hitcase for adventure-ready lenses, mounting, and iPhone protection, and Ski TV, who are producing three episodes about the brew and ski shenanigans.
The tour and BrewSki après parties are open to the public; check it out for a taste of the West Coast lifestyle.
