Bon Jovi fans who had tickets to the cancelled Stanley Park show on Saturday can rejoice – their tickets will be honoured with a private show at Rogers Arena.
No additional tickets to the performance will be sold.
Ticket holders are being advised to arrive at Rogers Arena with their original tickets and will be assigned seats based on the level of the ticket.
“Through it all, it has been Jon’s main concern that he find a way to make good on that promoter’s failed attempt to put on the show, said Paul Korzilius of Bon Jovi Management in a statement.
“Finally, the stage is set and we can confidently announce that all proper pieces are in place for a great show.”
Korzilius added the relocation of the show wouldn’t be possible without the help of Rogers Arena and Tourism Vancouver.
Bon Jovi said Vancouver has a special place in his heart since he recorded three albums here.
Paper Rain Productions, the original organizer of the show, has filed for bankruptcy and blames the failure on Bon Jovi’s camp. Korzilius said the production company “perpetuated confusion and misinformation” through the whole ordeal.
