First ever Big Yoga for Big Sisters relay coming to Vancouver

Ever fancied doing relay yoga? You’re in luck. Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland is launching its first ever Big Yoga for Big Sisters event in Vancouver in September.

The event, which takes place on Saturday, September 10 at Jonathan Rogers Park, will be a team-based 10-hour relay, consisting of 10 one-hour yoga sessions.

Big Yoga for Big Sisters will be open to all ages and all levels, and include a range of yoga styles and classes, plus a salad bar, kids’ events, music, and much more.

All proceeds go to Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland, which matches vulnerable girls between the ages of seven and 17 with female volunteers in mentoring relationships.

If you want to take part in Big Yoga for Big Sisters, you can sign up with your own team of up to 10 people, or as an individual to be placed on another team.

Registration is totally free, but participants are asked to fundraise at least $100 each.
