Grab your glitziest ski boots! Big White Ski Resort near Kelowna, BC, is hosting its first ever Pride celebration this spring.

The Peak Pride festival, which the resort intends to make an annual affair, will take place from Friday, April 7 until Sunday, April 9.

Pride events will get started on Friday night with the Opening Reception and Freestyle Party, headlined by Simone Denny of the iconic dance super group Love Inc.

On Saturday, you’ll be able to enjoy Big White’s first ever ski hill beer garden party and a downhill Pride Parade, from mountain top to the village.

Later on, Alyssa Edwards, star of RuPaul’s Drag Race and RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, will headline Saturday night’s Whiteout Party.

And on Sunday, you can nurse your hangover at a VIP Chatters Brunch, then wind down with a final T-Party at the Blarney Stone.

DJs Landon Chorney, Del Stamp, D3viant and Skylar Love, and drag queens Jem, Rose Butch, Jane Smoker and Visa DeKline are also set to perform during the weekend.

The new festival is being produced by longtime LGBT2Q+ community volunteers Dustyn Baulkham and Peter Breeze.

“The diversity of our community continues to grow and evolve,” said Breeze in a release.

“This has inspired us as we developed what Peak Pride will look like, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone to Big White in April.”

Early bird tickets to Peak Pride at Big White are on sale now, ranging from individual event passes at $19 for the T-Party, to a full Weekend VIP Pass for $219.

There will also be special Peak Pride ski and stay packages available through Big White Ski Resort, starting at $144/night for a minimum 2-night stay.
