Waffles are one of those glorious foods that refuse to be boxed in: They’re great for breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert, and can stand in for bread to take a sandwich to the next level. Whether it’s Belgian, American, Japanese or even Scandinavian, there are plenty of great waffles in the nooks and crannies of the city of Vancouver.

Scandilicious brings a Scandanavian twist to waffles in Vancouver. In addition to the Brussels and Liege style waffles they serve, Scandilicious has Vaffler, a heart shaped waffle lightly spiced with cardamon and served cold. They also have vegan and gluten-free waffles available.

Two of their signature toppings are the Majesty (brésilienne nuts, ice cream, banana, whipped cream, and caramel sauce) and the Royal (strawberries, whipped cream, chocolate).
