Looking for a new job? If so, it may be worth applying at Lush Cosmetics, which has been ranked first on a new list of the best places to work in BC.

Released by Indeed, the 10 Best Places to Work in BC was curated from the site’s hundreds of thousands of company reviews from employees.

A variety of industries are featured on the list, including cosmetics, retail, construction and
education, with similarities seen throughout their employee reviews that stand out.

Many reviews applaud the commitment to nurturing a great corporate culture and cultivating an environment that’s based on open communication, a team mentality and a sense of community.

“In today’s job market, job seekers are looking for the right fit and understanding what it’s like to work at a prospective company is increasingly important,” said Jodi Kasten, managing director at Indeed Canada. “Our findings show the BC-based companies that offer an outstanding employee experience, receiving praise for their commitment to offering a great culture, work-life balance and great pay and benefits among many other factors.”

While a “diversity” of industries made the list, she added, “one thing is universal: all of the
companies optimize for their employees’ happiness and invest in their workforce to continue to attract and retain top talent.”
