Whether you call the North Shore home, or are just catching a SeaBus or taking a drive across the Lions Gate Bridge to spend a little time on the other side of the Burrard Inlet, there are plenty of restaurants that offer welcoming outdoor spaces perfect for enjoying the spectacular views that seem par for the course in the area.

Tap & Barrel’s third outpost is takes patio life to epic levels in North Vancouver. The Lower Lonsdale Shipyards location has a couple of patio options for customers who want to sip on wines (all barrelled) and beers (all taps) and the popular restaurant’s west coast casual fare.

Altitudes Bistro is a casual dining option with a great patio and unbeatable views overlooking the Lower Mainland at Grouse Mountain Resort. A second, and more elevated option, The Observatory serves up dinner and stunning views (from the restaurant’s large glass windows) seven nights a week.
