Nothing beats a refreshingly cold beer enjoyed outdoors on a sunny afternoon. With a bounty of great patios dotted in and around the city, we’ve complied a list on Vancouver’s best, where you can throw back a pint or two.

Tap & Barrel

Not only does Tap & Barrel offer a progressive beer program along with tasty comfort food, but is also offers its patrons a sizable patio to enjoy such libations on. No matter which Tap & Barrel location you visit (Olympic Village, Coal Harbour and North Van) you will be spoiled for choice when it comes to sitting outdoors.

This non-pretentious bar patio is open from Monday to Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and boasts an impressive line-up of B.C. craft beers and decent food specials. It doesn’t hurt that the patio is sun-drenched most of the day and you won’t be frowned upon for showing up in sandals and beach wear.
