Okonomiyaki is a Japanese-style savoury pancake, and if you haven’t tried it yet, you should, because it’s delicious.

This dish is sometimes referred to as “Japanese Pizza” is made from a large pancake created out of flour and grated nagaimo (Chinese yam), dashi (cooking stock), eggs, green onion, and shredded cabbage. Okonomiyaki usually combines, octopus, squid, shrimp, vegetables, and thin pork belly, along with konjac, mochi, or cheese.
