Over the last decade, bars have changed names and locations along Granville Street and Robson Street, but The Lennox Pub has fit nicely where those two streets meet — since they opened their doors in 2000.
“Our family built the Lennox Pub in the heart of Vancouver in February of 2000 with the goal of being a comfortable yet classy atmosphere that provided exceptional offerings at pub prices,” said General Manger Ray Short. “Our goal was to appeal to locals, business people and tourists. The Lennox is the perfect spot to meet before or after work, before and after a game, concert, event or shopping outing.”
Who doesn’t like a pub where everybody knows your name? Or at least they want to. They have regular staff, regular customers and a great selection of 18 beers on tap, 20oz pints, five Irish Whiskeys as well as 22 additional Scotch and Whiskey selections to choose from. You can get cozy and enjoy the great big windows and covered patio for people watching or tuck away upstairs in the back, as it seats 30 or more.
Some define a Lennox as a meeting place with good people and this convenient location boasts the best Irish Coffee in Vancouver. All you have to do is try one and you’ll get it.
“We decided to pay tribute to the West Coast’s rainy days and our pub’s Celtic roots, by creating our signature drink, The Lennox Irish Coffee,” said Short. “Our management and bartending team got together with our chef to perfect the recipe for a world class Irish Coffee. After many attempts to get the combination ‘just right,’ our signature Irish Coffee was born with 100% Colombian coffee, Jameson Irish Whiskey, just the right amount of sugar and our signature house made floating whipped cream, making our Irish Coffee one of the many fantastic reasons to come to The Lennox.”
If you haven’t had one, here’s your chance! From September 22 – October 22, their legendary Lennox Irish Coffee will be on special for an entire month for just $4 (including tax), regularly $7.75
With an expanded and changing menu of over 40 items, including a $9 Lunch Special, Brunch and Dinner options and the recent addition of free Wi-Fi, it’s hard to make a wrong turn once you sit down.
“The atmosphere and very friendly staff make your outing truly one you will remember,” said Short. “With 18 draught beers on tap, a selection of premium wines, food 10 levels above what you would expect from a pub and, of course, our Irish Coffees, the Lennox Irish Pub is really a Downtown destination. I personally can’t think of a better way to celebrate a Canucks victory (or commiserate over a loss).”
No matter what direction you’re headed, you should find time to stop by The Lennox Pub, for an Irish Coffee, beers, a bite and friends. Don’t forget to show your event/game tickets to get 10% off your food.
