Best dog-friendly patios in Vancouver

Jun 2 2016, 12:50 am

With the sun shining it seems almost a crime to leave your dog at home when you’re out enjoying the fantastic weather. This year’s list of dog-friendly establishments not only welcome canine companions, they’re the perfect place to hydrate and refuel after a sunny stroll with your four-legged best friend.

An important note: Technically the City of Vancouver doesn’t actually allow dogs on patios where food is being served, over health concerns. But many establishments do provide a tie-up space just on the exterior, with many offering water, treats, shade and, for the good boys, a pat on the head.

It should go without saying, but only bring your pup to the patio if they are well behaved: We don’t want one bad egg ruining it for the rest of the patio-loving dog owners in this city.

Here are Vancouver’s best dog-friendly patios.
