With the Toronto Blue Jays set to begin their ALDS playoff series against the Cleveland Indians, what better time to brush up on your swing?

The Jays are currently being led through the playoffs by all-star hitters Josh Donaldson, Jose Bautista, and Edwin Encarnacion, who have all done more than their fair share of batting practice.

Grab a buddy and get ready to Edwing, here are five batting cages in and around the Vancouver area.

The Ballyard

Located at Sport Central in Richmond, The Ballyard has both large and small batting cages that can be rented by the hour. Make sure you bring a partner to pitch to you – either by hand or one of the available pitching machines.

Bullpen Baseball & Softball School

Located in New West, Bullpen has two batting cages which you can rent for any time from 30 minutes to 10 hours! There’s also full facility rental access, which grants you use of the throwing and fielding areas as well. Make sure you have a friend with you, as the pitching machines are hand-fed.

Castle Fun Park

Castle Fun Park has a variety of activities, including mini golf, go-karts, and yes, batting cages. It features nine indoor batting cages with machines that don’t need to be hand-fed, so you can go solo. From speeds ranging from 30-70mph, you choose the speed that fits your ability.

Sport Starz

Sport Starz is a training facility in Surrey, and the batting cages here can only be rented by an entire team or group. The facility comes with two 45 ft cages, two 75 ft cages, and a 90 ft practice infield.

Richmond Oval

If you have a membership at the Richmond Oval, you can drop in to one of the two batting cages available. The automated system allows you to hit alone, and the area is well-lit, allowing for practice even after the sun goes down.
