BENEFEST for Tibet

DH Vancouver Staff Sep 28, 2014 12:00 pm

TCSBC and Monk & The Warrior present BENEFEST for Tibet, a music showcase fundraiser. Taking place at Thunderbird arena on October 23rd, BENEFEST for Tibet fuses together some of Canada’s hottest acts, including Juno Award-winning singer/rapper K-os, Juno Nominated rapper Matt Brevner, Vancouver’s Indie Rock favourite “The Zolas”, and Vancouver-based Electronic music duo “The Funk Hunters”.

One hundred percent of the event proceeds will go to supporting the Vancouver chapter of the Tibetan Resettlement Project, a humanitarian initiative by His Holiness the Dalai Lama to resettle displaced Tibetans to Canada. The project reaches out to Tibetans living in the most impoverished refugee camps of Arunachal Pradesh, a region of northern India that borders Tibet.

Tickets and additional information on BENEFEST for Tibet are available here.
