Some of the tiniest creatures bring the biggest benefit to our natural world, and thanks to the Summer of Small Wonders at Grouse Mountain, you’ll be able to experience how bees, hummingbirds, pikas, salamanders and more impact the local eco-system.
Get up close and personal – in a safe environment – and explore an active honey bee hive, all while learning about the remarkable creatures.
To celebrate the small wonders, Grouse Mountain is giving away a bee hive tour for one lucky reader and three of their friends.
You’ll start with a ride on the Super Skyride, enjoying spectacular views of Vancouver, Burrard Inlet and beyond.
Next, you’ll don a beekeeper suit and get up close with the honey bees on a Hive Tour with their resident beekeeper. While here, appreciate the safe environment to learn about the amazing work of bees and exactly how vital they are to our entire food chain.
Finally, explore the mountain on your own, taking in Eco-Walks, the World Famous Lumberjack Show, the Bird in Motion Demonstration and, of course, Ranger Talks featuring orphaned Grizzlies Grinder and Coola.
Total prize valued at $245.
