Surrey's Christmas Train gets festive for the holidays

Stanley Park isn’t the only spot with a holiday train in town, the Bear Creek Christmas Train in Surrey will be serving the Valley’s families this winter with festive activities and entertainment.

Beginning Friday, December 4, Bear Creek Park in North Surrey will run the Christmas train between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day and host Santa Claus himself. Each person will receive a free candy cane, meet Santa and take a ride through the Christmas forest.

Adults will also receive a $5 gift card to Church’s Chicken with every adult ticket purchased.

Bear Creek Park Christmas Train

Where: Bear Creek Park – 13750 88th Avenue, Surrey

When: Friday, December 4 to January 3, 2016 – Santa will be there until December 24

Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cost: $8.50 each, plus tax
