Sunshine and comfortable temperatures forecast for long weekend

Good news, Vancouver’s sunny spell is set to continue into the long weekend.

Environment Canada is forecasting a clear and sunny start to the weekend with temperatures set to hit 24°C on Friday – perfect for patio lovers.

Temperatures are then expected to dip on Saturday to 23°C, and then again on Sunday when there will be a 30% chance of some showers. The good news, however, is that Vancouverites can expect bright sunny weather to celebrate BC Day on Monday.

While the weather isn’t as scorching as some might like, they will be comfortable, which is good news for the hundreds of thousands of people who are expected downtown for Saturday night’s fireworks at English Bay and Sunday’s Pride Festival.
