Basil Box, a fast-casual spot for eats inspired by the street markets of Thailand and Vietnam, is coming to BC.
Just three years after its founding in Mississauga’s Square One food court, the franchise operates six locations in Toronto and the GTA.
Basil Box has revealed plans to open six more Canadian eateries in the near future, and two of those locations will be in the Greater Vancouver area.
Known for their build-your-own salad, noodle, and rice-based bowls, Basil Box has confirmed they will be opening locations in pedestrian-heavy areas like Burrard and Robson (810 Burrard Street) in February 2019, and in Burnaby in Brentwood Town Centre at 4567 Lougheed Highway in June 2019.
Basil Box’s popularity stems from the fact that its offerings are super customizable.
Any base can be added to with the patrons’ choice of a selection of vegetables, protein such as seasoned chicken, steak, shrimp, and tofu, and of course, tons of sauces and toppings too.
This company is another Canadian chain to watch, we’ll keep you posted as these locations progress.
