Get ready to see the festival’s familiar tents dotting Vanier Park as Bard on the Beach returns to Vancouver for its 27th year, running from June 3 to September 24.

So which of Shakespeare’s iconic plays are on the program for this year?

Well, Bard on the Beach will feature The Merry Wives of Windsor set completely to 60s music, the traditional version of Romeo and Juliet, Othello set during the American Civil War, and Pericles.

Johanna Wright is directing once again, along with many of the original actors who are set to perfom on the BMO Mainstage.

Tickets are now on sale and start at $20 and can be purchased at bardonthebeach.org.
