The 3 day convention drew in 6000+ attendees  (many of which were dressed up as their favourite video game , comic or anime characters) last year and highlighted the creative talent from around here. In 2011, due to legal and financial issues facing AE Convention Corp., Anime Evolution 2011 was cancelled and future AE Convention Corp.-sponsored conventions remain ruled out indefinitely. The 3 day convention (Aug 13 to 15th) is expected to draw 6000 attendees!

The convention brought together art, animation, comic books, video games, film and music in a celebration of Asian pop culture. Hopefully this cancellation isn’t permanent and that the convention can once again take place.
