Are you looking for a new and interesting way to spend a Thursday evening in the city?
Well, Vancouver Aquarium is bringing back it’s After Hours adults-only event this month, and this time they’re adding an element of Jeopardy-inspired trivia.
The event is taking place at the Aquarium on Thursday, May 11 at 6 pm. So whether or not you know which marine animal has the densest fur in the animal kingdom or how many arms a Pacific octopus has, you’ll want to test your knowledge.
A cool aspect of the event is that you can purchase a beer, glass of wine, or a cocktail to enjoy while you conjure up answers to each of the questions asked.
You’ll also have the freedom to explore the galleries on your own, and join in on the ‘Q and Ray’ session in the Discover Rays Gallery while having a personal encounter with stingrays as they glide through the water. Plus, you can learn about marine invertebrates like sea stars and sea anemones in the Wet Lab.
There will be an interactive talk with aquarium staff detailing the dangerous animals that live so close by in the Strait of Georgia. You can catch the new screening of the exhilarating 4-D film, Coastal Predators on site, too.
Tickets to the event start at just $23 and are available through Vancouver Aquarium. But we’re giving one lucky Daily Hive reader two tickets to the event on May 11, and it could be you by entering the contest below.
