Abbotsford Winter Jubilee offers craft beer and carollers for Christmas

Nov 18 2017, 6:16 am

If your Christmas needs a little more craft beer, then the Winter Jubilee in Abbotsford might be the place for you this holiday season.

The free festival on December 2 includes a family-friendly craft beer and wine garden, alongside food trucks, as well as your usual Christmas carollers.

The festival’s tree lighting ceremony will see a 60-foot fir illuminated at the corner of West Railway and Essendene at 6 pm.

At the same time, Santa and Mrs. Claus will join a parade to Downtown Abby.

Throughout the night, festivalgoers on Essendene and Montrose Avenues will be able to enjoy live entertainment, children’s activities, and pony rides.

Plus, there will be handmade and artisan marketplaces and a family photo booth. And at 8:30 pm, the festival will culminate in a Christmas fireworks display.
