DH Vancouver Staff Dec 14, 2015 8:59 am

What started as a family dispute in Abbotsford has left a man with wounds to his neck and chest after he was stabbed.

The Abbotsford Police Department says they were called to a home in the 1700 block of Jackson Street for the dispute on December 13 at around 2:35 p.m. Minutes later, a second call came in reporting a stabbing at the same address.

Police, Fire and Ambulance arrived on scene and found the victim in his 20s who was transported to hospital via air ambulance. He’s currently in stable condition.

The Abbotsford PD located and arrested a 25-year-old man near the scene.
