Abbotsford police investigating fatal pedestrian collision with commercial vehicle

An adult male was pronounced dead on scene following a fatal pedestrian collision with a vehicle in Abbotsford.

The incident took place earlier this morning at approximately 3:05 am, when Abbotsford Emergency Services responded to a collision on the 34000 block of Gladys Avenue.

A pedestrian was struck by a commercial vehicle. The driver remained on scene and is currently cooperating with investigators.

Police, fire, and ambulance were all present and found the adult male already deceased upon arrival.

At this time, the male has still not been identified.

Collision Reconstructionists, Patrol Division officers, and BC Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement Investigators are all investigating the incident.
