Many of us who drive know about the stretch of East 12th ave heading west past Fraser. It’s four narrow lanes where there should be two and the average speed is, oh, 70 kph. To make things even more interesting are the trees lining the road, whose roots are so large they create conditions perfect for launching a car into a 180 degree barrel roll right onto the roof. No one was hurt, this time, but it’s definitely food for thought when ripping down our tree lined Vancouver streets.
