This Thursday, March 8, is International Women’s Day – a celebration of the social, political, cultural and economic achievements of women.

The entire world will be taking a stand with events, forums, campaigns, and rallies to grow support and continue to push for further progress.

Spotlight Pop-Up

  • What: A pop-up taking place in celebration of International Women’s Day. Photos are a $5 per person donation with all proceeds going to Vancouver’s Dress for Success charity.

International Women’s Day at Vancouver TheatreSports

Empowering the Future 

  • What: A networking event that’s spearheaded by some of the most prominent women in Vancouver’s hospitality industry. The four-hour event takes place at Cafe Median and features scheduled speakers including Lisa Haley (restaurant director of L’Abbattoir), Kaitlyn Stewart (bar manager & global champion of Royal Dinette & World Class), and Anna Farrant (co-founder of All City Athletics) – to name a few.
