Arms Akimbo

  • What: Arms Akimbo’s inaugural improv performance Local musicians Rupert Common, Missy D, and Dave Taylor with his band will also perform.
  • Where: The Woods Studio – 7 West 2nd Avenue, Vancouver
  • When: April 28 at 7:30 pm
  • Tickets: At the door, $10 ($3 of every ticket will be donated to Beauty Night Society)

Laff Past Eight – Stand-up Comedy Showcase

  • What: Comedy comes to Port Moody, with headliner Al Hassam and comics Kicky Zipzak, Molly Stuart, Angelica Senger, and Jari Wilkman. Hosted by Jerome De Luca.
  • Where: Gallery Bistro- 2411 Clarke Street, Port Moody
  • When: April 28. Dinner at 7 pm, show at 8:01 pm

Drunk Magic with Wes Barker

  • What: Magician Wes Baker will hold a live podcast with comedians Simon King and Ivan Decker where the drinking will begin. After the podcast, both Simon and Ivan will do 15 minute sets followed by Wes performing a magic show where the audience will choose the tricks and the drinks.
  • Where: The Biltmore Cabaret – 2755 Prince Edward Street, Vancouver
  • When: April 30 at 7:30 pm

Julian’s Village Improv Night

  • What: A night to raise awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder and to raise funds for services to assist in the development of Julian Ono. Featuring a performance by Vancouver TheatreSports League, and a silent and live auction.
  • Where: The Improv Centre – 1502 Duranleau Street, Vancouver
  • When: May 2 at 6:30 pm

  • What: Bryan Callen got his start as an original cast member of MAD TV. He then went on to play numerous roles on the small and big screen including Old School, Bad Santa, Sex and the City, CSI and The Hangover.
  • Where: the Comedy Mix – 1015 Burrard Street, Vancouver
  • When: May 4 at 8:30 pm, May 5 and 6 at 8 and 10:30 pm
