What: Conceptual rock ensemble Man Man come to the Venue Nightclub tonight on their North American tour. With a sound like this, you’re going to know if this is your thing or not within five seconds of hearing them. Either way, you’re going to want to give it a shot.

What: A play centering on the lives of Muslim-Americans, and the Islamaphobia experience in today’s culture. The play is centered around a dinner party between a Muslim couple, African-American couple, and Jewish couple. Things are sure to get interesting.
Where: The Arts Club Theatre Company – 2750 Granville Street, Vancouver
What: Two of Vancouver’s hottest dance companies come together for a show unlike any other. South Asian Arts will perform traditional bhangra dances, while Project Soul will showcase popping and locking and break dancing. When two cultures combine, it’s a beautiful thing.

What: This is the first night of Five for Film Lovers. From September 17-21, the Cinematique will be showing five films, suggested by local donors.
