Today’s date matches up with the number of Vancouver events on display. This astrological event only happens once every 3,567 days, or so my aunt’s Facebook would have me believe.

  • What: Dutch DJ Fadil El Ghoul, better known as R3hab, spins the tunes all night at the Harbour Event Centre.

FourPlay 2016

  • What: This year’s version of one of Vancouver’s most popular one act play festival, hosted by Langara College and Studio 8. Tonight is a preview night for “The Classroom,” and “Retail: The Musical.”

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

  • What: The stage adaptation for family-friendly classic “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.” Put on by Align Entertainment, there’s no better way to take a trip back to childhood.

Vancouver Giants vs. Calgary Hitmen

  • What: Two very intensely named sports teams face off against each other tonight. Let the old rivalries burn! Support your hometown heroes with a good old fashioned night at the rink.
