On Saturday, December 7, the Crystal Ridge Express on Blackcomb Mountain will officially open. Festivities will be held at the base of the Crystal Ridge Express at 10 a.m. to help kick-off the launch.
Enjoy the celebration with Maple’s Sugar Shack, the McQuaid Brothers playing live music, and free goodies including the soon to be legendary #WBSnowRuler and Kit Kat chocolate bars.
Whistler Mountain’s Harmony 6 Express will open on Saturday, December 14.
The Crystal Ridge Express will terminate along the Blackcomb Glacier Road ski-out. It will give skiers the freedom to lap the entire Crystal Zone through bypassing the Excelerator Express and faster access to the Horstman Glacier, Blackcomb Glacier and Spanky’s Ladder.
At Whistler Mountain’s Harmony Zone, skiers can anticipate quicker uploads to its stunning array of powder-filled bowls, steeps and cruisers.
Whistler/Blackcomb has received 35 cm (14 in) of snow in the last seven days, 142 cm (56 in) since the season started.
