Winterlicious, returning to Toronto for its 16th year, wants you to remember your best self. The part of you that loves good food at impossible good prices. The part of you that’s willing to brave the cold for new experiences in your home city. And for your bravery, you shall be rewarded.

From January 26 to February 8, more than 200 restaurants across Toronto will be opening their doors for Winterlicious. Whether you’re aiming to step out of your comfort zone or your budget zone, you’ll find something that will leave you with mouth-watering memories (and some amazing Instagram food shots, if you’re so inclined).

Every participating restaurant will be offering three-course prix fixe menus at $23/$28/$33 for lunch, and $33/$43/$53 for dinner, so you can enjoy a lavish, multi-course dining experience.

If you’re not feeling the prix fixe vibe, you can also attend the Culinary Event Series, featuring seven unique cooking experiences hosted by some of the top chefs and venues in Toronto. Tickets are available here.

If you’ve never had the pleasure of throwing yourself into Winterlicious before, consider it as the best and most affordable way to take an unofficial tour of Toronto’s diverse and delicious culinary scene. If you’re a veteran of Licious (both Summer and Winter varieties, obviously), then you know it’s the best way to spend midwinter that doesn’t involve Netflix and sweatpants.

If you’re realizing that you’ve been subsisting on takeout and ramen since New Year’s Day and the idea of treating yourself to the best meals in the city sounds good for your soul, don’t sleep on it; reservations for Winterlicious are strongly recommended. So go make like a grizzly bear and eat everything you possibly can before returning to hibernation.
